Child Protection

NWF Health Network

NWF Health Network is the lead agency for a system of care in which we contract with partnering agencies for those services considered as essential, or “core”, for the delivery of child protection services. These services include case management and independent living, foster home management, adoption services, family intervention services, supervised visitation services, residential group care, and shelter services. We also contract when possible, with agencies who can deliver services considered to be an enhancement to the core services such as prevention services, mentoring services, and nurse case management services.

Family smiling

Our program goal is to empower kinship caregivers by removing barriers and providing needed resources to ensure that the well-being and welfare needs of children in care are met.

NWF Health Network partners with local agencies to provide case management services to the children and families involved in the child protection system. Case managers assist children and families in managing difficult life events, monitor living situations, and recommend abuse prevention services such as counseling, parent training, and supervision.
